Rob Mantegna

Rob Mantegna is a struggling musician on the fusion scene of Ontario, Canada. He was born on 04/06/1988 and he is working currently on his first album - Primal Trick, an experiment with sound and harmony and on a collaboration with the abstract painter Sue Donalds.

He began to play guitar at the age of 11. In the beginning he was attracted by blues and rock guitarists like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Ritchie Blackmore and Gary Moore but, as soon as he discovered fusion, he started to study the music of Mahavishnu Orchestra, Chick Corea and Scott Henderson.

The track he sent us - Fresh Decoy, is consisting of two free improvisations on his Les Paul and Axon Guitar to MIDI module.
