FA: Marshall JMP-1 midi preamp, NR - Boyd Williamson - 05:49 08-11-05

Hey all...
I'm selling a Marshall JMP-1 midi preamp on eBay, no reserve. It is NOT in
perfect cosmetic condition, but is in very good shape, and the front panel
looks just fine. The tubes are branded MESA. It screams.
The Marshall website description:

It has NOT spent its entire life in a hermetically sealed, smoke-free studio
vacuum, and so will probably sell for less than these things usually go for,
because it merely WORKS perfectly.
These things sell for $1,200-1,400 new, street price ($1,980 list). As I
said, there's no reserve. This could be a break for somebody who wants one.
The auction ends Monday night, the 14th, a little after 6 Pacific Time.

Damn, I didn't know they were that expensive these days :-) I paid a bit
over $200 for mine just a few years back, mint condition too w/original
packing and stuff, and there was another one in the store, never left the
premises, for under 200 a year later. But it sure is a good unit, and I'd
hate to lose it now. But gotta start thinking about selling if they're _so_
pricey nowadays...

The price is INSANE, when you consider that you can get a vintage
Marshall head and a 4x12 at the same price!
