Scored a Chambered Tele today - Rick Del Savio - 18:02 09-11-05

Hi. So, the Squier Tele, chambered arrived today. Been putting it
through 'changes' this afternoon. Sounds great actually. Played it into
a Roland Cube 30 for a Blues/Rock/Metal tone. It did not disappoint.
Used two amps. The Roland and also my Jazz rig, Acoustic Image/Raezers
Edge set-up. Nice tone, neck feel. Hardware is way cool. Anyone else
have one of these? Peace out, Rick D. 30 Free lessons, audio clips at

"Chambered Tele" is a little misleading don't you think?
Mahogany body, 24.75" Scale length, 2 humbuckers and a stoptail/tune-o-matic
bridge set up?
What's tele about it besides the outline? :)
I'm sure it's a cool guitar though. I have a Guild Bluesbird which has more
in common with the above instrument than that was does to a Tele and I love
the hell out of it.
Cheers

Well, clearly it's a marketing angle. You know, calling it a Tele. I've
had two Teles in the past. A 'real' one, US made, maple-neck, fretboard,
Tele pick-ups, bolt-on neck, sunburst and a Tele with 3 Lace Sensor p/us
one in the neck position two in the bridge. Should've kept the first
one. But I do dig this Squier "Tele". Especially since I now have it
set-up with TI 09s' and I have it at home running into several different
amps. Funny thing, with the toggle switch set to where both 'humbuckers'
are on, it still seems to twang. Imo, and in my ears. Though not exactly
like a Tele on the bridge setting. Anyway....Peace Ya'll, Rick
