Is this for real? - Geoff C - 00:00 15-11-05

I've never bought off ebay before, but this Ibanez is either a steel at $10
or non-existant. What gives?

Yeah, that is something that's being P-ing me off severely lately. People
trying to make a buck off the shipping costs. In a way, I don't blame them,
but it just seems wrong dunnit?

The item description is worth reading too. Is he seriously describing
a regular production model Ibanez?

"I am a businessmen in Beijing.As you know,the culture of Chinese 5,000
years history contains inestimable history and culture all the arts.So
the craft arts have a long history. Now the craft men use the ancient
technics to creat beautiful and wonder craft arts such as jade, jewelry
and silver carving and stone artifacts. All of them are the symbol of
happyness and lucky,so they are worth to collect!"

"Now this time I will show you an exquisite and excellent treasure!!!
>From the photoes, you can see it is very well. With the perfect
style, nice design, wonderful workmanship, it is really a rare artwork
and worth collecting!!! It is in good condition. Look at the pictures
you can see the shape is very well; So wonderful item . If you like
Chinese culture, please don't miss this item. I have other wonderful
item on my ebay . please view my other item!"

Well, even with the majorly padded shipping cost, it appears to be a
good price unless it's some sort of knock off (although I have no idea
how AU converts to US dollars):

It could just be that picture of Ibanez he's selling.

The picture had better be printed on a slab of concrete for a shipping
cost of $380.00 AU.

It is a violation of ebay's policies to inflate shipping costs to avoid
paying higher prices for auction fees. People need to COMPLAIN to ebay.
