gibson faded models discontinued? - vader - 06:07 15-11-05

I can't find them at gibson.com, but they're not in the discontinued models,
not the les pauls.

The only faded guitar I see in the Les Paul line now is the
double-cut. That isn't a bad guitar for what it is. I did, however,
move up to the double-cut Classic with the P-90s and am immensely
happy with it. Alas, it too has been discontinued.

Checking the current Musician's Friend catalog, the Les Paul Standard
Faded '60s Neck and the Les Paul Faded Double Cutaway are current.
Also there's a Les Paul Vintage Mahogany with Faded cherry finish
available.

I saw them in a very new catalog from o local store so I suppose they're
still in production.

Play before you buy. I hate the feel of the neck. Although, I suppose
a guy could sand the neck down and put on a tung oil finish.
