Guitar or Amp - Sacramento Dave - 10:21 27-11-05

My wife is turning 50 in March so I have a dilemma should I buy a new amp or
guitar for myself to celebrate her Birthday? I was thinking a Fargen
Blackbird amp but I never have had Telecaster either. What more could she
want, the big smile on my face would be the greatest gift of all. Any
thoughts before I'm beat to death?

Get her something SHE wants!! If SHE'S happy, buying a guitar/amp down the
road won't cost you 2-weeks of "Silent Treatment" and couch time!!! She'll
be the one to insist you get a new toy if she's gotten HER needs met!!

Simple. Compose a song especially for her on her birthday. The stickier and
sweeter the better.
After you've played it for her and reaped the immediate rewards, casually
mention how great the song would sound with the guitar/amp you have in
mind.

Couldnt be any worse than the first XMas present I bought my first ex wife
25 years ago...a frying pan....she wasnt too happy, to say the least.

Build your own Fargen Blackbird amp for a similar amazing sound and while
your at it build your own telecaster; unless your too lazy, then buy it.
