Can I get a value? - worldsbestspeakers - 08:54 03-12-05

I have a 1987 American Strat in mint original condition. Need to sell
it. Can someone please advise me what's a fair price to ask? Can you
email me at speakers@charter.net

Many thanks. David

For grins and giggles I checked Ebay's completed listings...Found 20
or so of that year, but all MIJ ( good guitars )and going from
$275-$385US. An American ? Go to your local Books a Million, and sneak a
peek in one of the blue books for electric.

The 2005 Vintage Guitar Price Guide says $700-900 if in excellent condition.
Those figures are to be used as rules of thumb. Other factors apply, such as
the age of the book, which is now near its end, and how the guitar market
has done in the past year, as well as your need to sell and the buyer's
willingness to buy.
